EPM rubber is a Random copolymer of ethylene and propylene monomers; elastomer vulcanized by peroxide crosslinking; vulcanizates have exc. elastic props. and good ageweather resist. EPM rubber uses and applications include: Rubber for injection molded and extruded goods (electronic components, wire insulationjacketing, o-rings, brake components, hoses, profiles, automotive goods, white wall tire compds.); polyethylene film (general packaging); film-former; modifying PP and other plastics; cosmetic stick formulations; in closure-sealing gaskets for food containers; in food-contact articles for repeated use; flow modifier for polymers
