Role Description

$60,000/Year + EOY Performance Bonus You will directly shadow one of Parchem’s Key Account Managers and learn from their experience in a hands-on supporting role. Junior Traders are given the training and opportunities to directly interact with suppliers and customers in a closely monitored, low-risk environment. By building your skillset over a six-month period, you will develop the instincts and decision-making skills of a seasoned Account Executive and begin earning uncapped commissions on your own accounts. You are a fit for this role if you are motivated, personable, and disciplined with a strong ability to manage time and expectations.

As a Parchem Junior Trader, you will:
•    Undergo comprehensive six-month training and mentorship program
•    Shadow and support a Key Account Manager in their operations, sales, and order processing duties
•    Qualify inbound inquiries and identify hot leads
•    Source raw materials, calculate costs, and build pricing quotes for customers
•    Coordinate with Regulatory to process customer documentation requests
•    Prepare orders and work with Customer Service to manage expectations and update customers
•    Conduct market research, stay on top of trends, and position advantageously during market volatility
•    Place outbound sales calls to revitalize dormant accounts and generate new business opportunities
•    Enhance your expertise in select industry verticals

Junior Trader Requirements
•    Bachelor’s Degree
•    1-2 years of business experience (internship or full time)
•    Clear, concise, and professional communication skills (verbal and written)
•    Excellent time management skills and customer-focused attention to detail
•    Motivation to succeed and drive growth
